Hey, I'm Krissa!


I’m a family photographer located in Spokane, Washington.


I became a mom in 2024, and it changed the way I see just about everything. I’m in the midst of toddlerhood now, and time feels like a blur. I desperately want to hold on to all of it—the way Wells pushes his toy mower across the yard, pretending to be Dad; the way he grabs his milk and blankey, heads to the couch, and says, “Elmo”; and the way he opens the pantry door and says, “Chip,” in the cutest little voice I’ve ever heard.


He is my why. Why I picked up my camera again. Why I want to document these kinds of moments for other moms and dads—giving you something tangible to hold on to, even as your children continue to grow.

When I'm not behind the camera...


You can usually find me spending time with my husband and son, grabbing a fountain Diet Coke before heading to "the bins", or starting another creative project. Watercolor and sewing are my current obsessions.


I'm also a loyal watcher of Survivor, Below Deck, and The Challenge and I love a good puzzle, preferably 500 pieces or fewer because I know my limits.

A few reasons I love photography​


01. It’s almost like traveling back in time—revisiting the places we’ve been and the experiences we’ve shared, and telling stories that start with, “I remember when…”


02. It reminds me of the things I’ve forgotten. I never meant to forget what my son looked like as a newborn, but as the days go by, the details naturally start to fade—his little scrunched-up nose, or how he was like the size of a football and fit so perfectly in the nook of my arm.


03. Life is full of ups and downs. Things change, and people come and go. Photographs become a kind of timeline—a way to look back and remember what life once felt like.
