Hey, I'm Krissa!


I’m a family, documentary, and newborn photographer located in Spokane, Washington.


I became a mom in 2024, and it changed the way I see just about everything. I’m in the midst of toddlerhood now, and time feels like a blur. I desperately want to hold on to all of it—the way Wells pushes his toy mower across the yard, pretending to be Dad; the way he grabs his milk and blankey, heads to the couch, and says, “Elmo”; and the way he opens the pantry door and says, “Chip,” in the cutest little voice I’ve ever heard.


He is my why. Why I picked up my camera again. Why I want to document these kinds of moments for other moms and dads—giving them something tangible to hold on to, even as their children continue to grow.

When I'm not behind the camera...


You can usually find me spending time with my husband and son, grabbing a fountain Diet Coke before wandering through a thrift store, or starting another creative project. Watercolor and sewing are my current obsessions


I'm also a loyal watcher of Survivor, Below Deck, and The Challenge and I love a good puzzle, preferably 500 pieces or fewer because I know my limits.
